Talbot Builders is not just a company; it’s a legacy that began decades ago on a cherished piece of land in the Lake Sunapee Region. In the 1970s, Craig T. Howe, founder and president of Talbot Builders, moved to this property as a child with his family. His father transformed an old barn into an art gallery, while Craig watched the construction of six small homes in the fields behind. These early experiences sparked Craig’s passion for construction and building, leading him to a career in carpentry, civil engineering, and ultimately, founding Talbot Builders.
The Barn
The Talbot Builders office located in New London, New Hampshire, holds a special place in our hearts. As a child, Craig watched his father renovate the barn. Decades later, in 2018, Craig and his team of professionals purchased and renovated the very same barn, turning it into a modern, efficient office space that now serves as the headquarters for Talbot Builders. This barn, rich with history and personal memories, stands as a testament to our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
